Qualifications: Education: Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, or Information Systems. Experience: Minimum of 5 years of technical experience with DoD Tactical Communications and Enterprise Networks, including work across classified/unclassified environments. Recent (within the last 2 years) hands-on experience with: Software Defined Networking (SDN) Virtualization platforms (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V) Session virtualization technologies supporting tactical or enterprise software deployments.
Technical Expertise:
Strong knowledge of network routing and switching technologies and configurations (e.g., Cisco, Juniper, Arista). Experience with network troubleshooting, optimization, and architecture design.
Security & Compliance:
Understanding of Cybersecurity principles and the application of Information Assurance (IA) practices in network environments. Familiarity with DoD compliance standards (e.g., RMF, STIGs).
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with cloud-based networks and hybrid infrastructure environments (e.g., AWS GovCloud, Azure Government). Background in integrating C4I and Combat Systems networks. Certifications such as Cisco CCNP/CCNA, CompTIA Security+, Network+, or DoD 8570 IAT Level II or higher.
Work Environment & Conditions:
May involve working in secure facilities with restricted access. Some travel to field sites, labs, or test locations may be required. Must be comfortable working both independently and as part of a cross-functional technical team.
