IT & Systems Support Analyst

Position Overview:
Our client, a well-established organization with a strong local presence, is seeking an
IT & Systems Support Analyst
to join their team. This is a diverse, hands-on role blending technical support, systems analysis, and database administration. You'll be the go-to resource for keeping technology running smoothly while optimizing systems and processes that drive the business forward.

Key Responsibilities:

Systems Analysis & Process Optimization

  • Analyze and document business processes to identify opportunities for improvement.

  • Collaborate across departments to align enhancements with ERP system capabilities.

  • Design and map workflows using tools like Visio or Lucidchart.

  • Develop and maintain detailed technical documentation and process standards.

  • Support ERP implementation efforts including data migration, testing, and user training.

  • Generate reports and insights to support data-driven decision-making.

Database Administration

  • Manage Microsoft SQL Server and Azure SQL databases, ensuring connectivity and performance.

  • Design and maintain database structures, tables, views, and stored procedures.

  • Optimize query performance and indexing for maximum efficiency.

  • Oversee database security, backups, and recovery processes.

  • Create ad-hoc reports and custom data views as needed.

IT Support & Infrastructure Maintenance

  • Install, configure, and maintain hardware, software, and networking systems.

  • Provide technical support for internal users, including troubleshooting and issue resolution.

  • Manage user onboarding/offboarding, access controls, and system documentation.

  • Support system upgrades, patches, and maintenance schedules.

  • Collaborate with external vendors to ensure optimal system performance.

  • Maintain and monitor servers and key systems, including ERP platforms.

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of experience in IT support or system maintenance.

  • Strong proficiency with
    Microsoft SQL Server
    and
    Azure SQL
    .

  • Solid understanding of
    ERP systems
    , integration, and workflow documentation.

  • Experience with
    data modeling
    , query tuning, and performance optimization.

  • Familiarity with
    database security
    , backup, and disaster recovery best practices.

  • Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate across teams.

  • Bachelor's Degree in a related field (preferred).
