Early Childhood Educator

Our Christine Sinclair Child Care Centre is looking for a qualified Early Childhood Educator to work in a permanent full-time position. We are seeking a dedicated educator who can confidently manage transitions in a fast-paced environment with a group of up to 8 children, lead circle time activities, has experience in program planning, and maintains accurate documentation with given admin time. The ideal candidate will value collaboration through teamwork and demonstrate a commitment to ongoing professional development. This role requires strong organizational skills, a nurturing approach, and a passion for creating meaningful learning experiences.

Location: 3713 Kensington Ave, Burnaby BC

Start Date: November 2025

Compensation: $26.96 to $28.92. Compensation depends on experience and qualifications. Wage enhancement is included.

Hours: 35 hours per week

Shift Schedule: Monday to Friday between the hours of 7:15am to 6:00pm. Shifts are assigned on a weekly rotating basis.

Qualifications:

• Valid Early Childhood Educator License
• Valid Food Safe Level 1 Certification
• Valid First Aid Certificate
• Clear Criminal Record Check
• 1 year experience working in an inclusive setting
• Proof of medical fitness to work with children
• Ability to lift 30lbs
