What you will do

At Volvo Group Digital and IT, you will contribute to the transformation of our company, the transport industry and society at large. You will: 

Within our IT entity, you participate in the maintenance of Volvo Group applications. You will develop technical and functional skills related to mobile development. You will discover different areas of the company (pre-sales, production, after-sales).

With the help of the team, you will be in charge of:

· Participate in the development and implementation of new solutions

· Ensure the maintenance and support of existing solutions

· Implement functional and graphic developments

· To develop in a Scrum and Agile environment and context

· Use Azure development tools and platform

· Participate in meetings of the international project team (English)

· To work in collaboration with global development and design entities

Your future team

You will work with Frédéric in the Mobile & XR team, made up of 15 people in France, ready to welcome you to the role of Android mobile developer for a work-study contract in Lyon (69).
You will join the Mobile & XR team which is responsible for the development and deployment of mobile and augmented or virtual reality projects and applications within the Volvo Group. You will focus your activity in the context of mobile solutions on Android platform.

Who are you?

 · You are preparing a Bac+5 level diploma in computer engineering

· You are looking for a work-study program for 2 or 3 years

· You have good experience or knowledge in Android mobile development (Java and especially Kotlin)

· You are curious about mobile technologies and good UX/UI design practices

· You are a very good communicator and will easily share in workshops or meetings

· With a curious temperament, you demonstrate a great open-mindedness

· You are comfortable working in an international context, you speak English fluently and you will be able to integrate into a global organization
