Job Profile:
We’re Looking For:
We are seeking a detail shop clerk with experience in general office administration who will be responsible for supporting our reconditioning shop operations. You will be involved in preparing quotes for detailing services, creating work orders, posting charges, responding to inquiries from internal and external clients, and running production reports for the Detail Supervisor.
You Are:
Customer Focused. You will provide customers with a great experience by responding quickly and following through with requests.
Organized. You will be responsible for detailed administrative tasks, and can comfortably pause work to respond to customer inquiries.
Team Oriented. You will proactively communicate with other team members including: sales, commercial accounts, and accounting to support our customer service needs.
You Will:
Provide excellent customer service when responding to customer inquiries, obtaining vehicle and requested service information and ensuring customers receive prompt, efficient and courteous attention for all contacts and transactions
Prepare estimates/quotes for service, updating and monitoring Portal and VTrace to respond to tags, ETC’s, and approved work orders
Accurately enter information into our systems for recon services, including posting charges related to materials, supplies, and production for dealer, retail, and commercial customers in accordance with Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and company procedures
Generate reports for Detail Supervisor including outstanding jobs to complete
Update production details into AMS and VTrace, and other data entry tasks related to detail shop operation
Must Haves:
1-2 Years’ of related experience in an administrative capacity
Strong customer service and communication skills
Able to efficiently respond to various requests at one time
Nice to Haves:
Prior experience in a similar role or within OPENLANE
Familiarity with Google Suite
Experience with AMS, VTrace, and other OPENLANE systems
