Join the development of our most ambitious project to date: Star Wars Eclipse as the Lead Writer. In support of the Game Director, you will join and lead the Story team.


As such your role will be to:
  • Oversee the writing direction of the project, ensuring the tone, consistency and coherence of a complex and intricate story.
  • Write action and dialogue heavy scripts for both in-game and cutscene scenarios.
  • In constant contact with the Game Director and other key stakeholders, discuss, exchange, brainstorm, iterate, review each other's ideas/pitch/writing material.
  • Interface frequently with different departments (Shooting, Game/Narrative/Level Design, Cinematics, Art, Motion Capture…) to ensure a high quality narrative experience, through reviews, feedback, and detailed explanations of the narrative vision of the project.
  • Be one of the main points of contact with our external partners.
Your skills:
  • A proven track record in writing for AAA video games, ideally on interactive drama or complex narrative driven games.
  • Or a strong experience as Lead/Principal/Senior Writer in cinema, TV Series, Animation.
  • You have a deep understanding of narrative structures, character development, and story arcs within the context of video games.
  • The Star Wars franchise is familiar to you.
  • Excellent communicator and strong team player, you are known for your ability to adapt to your work environment and work collaboratively with your different partners.
  • Giving and receiving constructive feedback has become natural to you; you never put your ego upfront and you know how to smooth things out to improve your partners' work.
  • Good understanding of software (writing and gaming).
  • Mastery of English, both oral and written, is required. French is a plus.
