Position Title: QA Tester (Temp) Studio/Department: Quality Assurance Employee Type: Full Time, Temp Location: Needham, MA/Remote Salary Range: $14.00 - $17.00 per hour, pay may vary on location. The Opportunity The QA Tester is responsible for testing multiple aspects of Lord of the Rings Online. In the QA Department at Standing Stone Games reporting to the QA Lead, this position will be responsible for: Hands-on reporting of bugs, balance issues, etc. Performing regression and ad-hoc testing Assisting in build approvals by completing smoke tests, test plans, and ad-hoc testing Investigating bugs reported by players Work closely with developers and attend various meetings What Craft Expertise You'll Have: Prior experience playing The Lord of the Rings Online Strong working knowledge of the MMO genre Excellent communication, both written and verbal Highly motivated and self-directed, with a drive to perform well and take initiative on tasks Teamwork oriented 3+ years of experience as a software Quality Assurance tester, preferably on an AAA title Knowledge of Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office products (Outlook, Word, and Excel) Experience with JIRA a plus We invite you to get in the game with us and help us make exciting experiences!
