The DKMS Life Science Lab gGmbH in Dresden carries out the molecular typing of the HLA characteristics of all DKMS donors in the fight against blood cancer and is the world's largest HLA tissue typing laboratory. Our laboratory, which is accredited according to international guidelines, sequences more than one million samples provided by DKMS donors every year. Our success builds on continuous research, aiming at taking advantage of the latest innovations in molecular biology and next generation sequencing and adapting those to the field of immunogenetics.

The Bioinformatics group at the DKMS Life Science Lab gGmbH is at the forefront of developing tools that utilize high throughput DNA sequencing technologies to combat blood cancer.

As part of our commitment to excellence and innovation, we are looking for our department in Dresden for a dedicated Bioinformatics Applications Engineer (m/f/d) (Full-time, permanent). This role is pivotal in ensuring the quality and robustness of our diagnostic applications, focusing on maintenance, user support, and continuous improvement of our software solutions.
