In this role, you will play a pivotal part in designing and building intelligent agentic solutions capable of operating independently within business processes, driving efficiency, and enabling smart, data-informed decision-making.    You are passionate about AI, automation, and creating autonomous systems that drive real business value? Join us and help transform how businesses make decisions and optimize workflows with agentic intelligence!    What you’ll be doing  Design and develop AI-powered agentic systems that enable automation and autonomous decision-making, driving business process optimization  Collaborate with data scientists and software engineers to enhance agentic behavior by integrating advanced machine learning models and continuously refining agent performance  Optimize agentic system architectures to ensure they are scalable, adaptable, and robust, supporting high-performance and seamless integration within business processes  Ensure smooth communication between AI agents and other automation components, facilitating interoperability across systems  Monitor and analyze the performance of AI-driven agentic systems, identifying opportunities for improvement and implementing continuous optimization  Stay current with the latest advancements in AI agents, reinforcement learning, and multi-agent systems, applying cutting-edge innovations to improve agent capabilities  Develop and implement comprehensive testing strategies for agentic systems, ensuring reliability, accuracy, and robustness before deployment    What you bring  5+ years of experience in AI/ML engineering, automation, or agentic system development, with a focus on creating intelligent, autonomous solutions  Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in AI, Computer Science, or a closely related field, with a strong foundation in artificial intelligence and system engineering  Deep expertise in multi-agent systems, reinforcement learning, and autonomous AI frameworks, with a proven track record of applying these technologies to real-world challenges  Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, and experience with TensorFlow, PyTorch, or other leading AI/ML development tools  Hands-on experience with AI-driven decision-making systems, including the development of chatbots and autonomous workflow automation    What we offer A modern office in the heart of Berlin and flexible options for remote work Numerous benefits such as a free BVG job ticket, a reduced-price membership for Urban Sports, company bike leasing, discounts for Bertelsmann employees, among others Ongoing training opportunities on our internal platforms BMG Campus and Bertelsmann University Long-term career opportunities for all employees A collaborative work environment with an open, appreciative community of people who all share the same passion for working with artists and songwriters Our unique corporate culture based on strong values and mutual support that make us a great team   This is us  With 20 offices across 13 key markets, BMG represents more than three million songs and recordings, including some of the most iconic catalogs and works from leading artists and songwriters such as The Rolling Stones, Tina Turner, George Harrison, Blondie, and more.
