WBRC Inc. is seeking an experienced *Electrical Engineer* to join our collaborative, multidisciplinary team. In this hybrid role, based in our *Portland, ME* office. You’ll enjoy a collaborative, team-first environment with the flexibility to work from home as needed—and the chance to lead complex and rewarding projects across the Northeast and Florida.
*Responsibilities:*
* Lead production and design of *building electrical systems* including lighting, power distribution, and low-voltage systems
* Manage electrical projects from *concept through construction*
* Review submittals, write specifications, and perform *construction administration and site visits*
* Collaborate with architects and engineers in *multi-disciplinary project teams*
* Provide technical oversight and mentoring to junior engineers
* Ensure designs follow *NEC, local codes, and industry standards*
*Qualifications:*
* *PE license required* (multi-state licensure a plus)
* *6-10 years* of experience in electrical building systems design
* Proficiency in *Revit and AutoCAD*
* *Excellent communication* and project leadership skills
* Knowledge of *MEP coordination*, *site inspections*, and code compliance
* Must be able to *work in-office/hybrid* in Portland, ME and travel periodically to job sites and client meetings
* Experience in *construction administration* and *client-facing roles* is essential
* A *passionate problem-solver* who takes pride in high-quality work
* Previous experience with K-12, higher education, healthcare, civic, and commercial facility design
