A new Perfume dimension to access another dimension of the Being

About the role As a Graphic Designer at Parfums de Marly, you will collaborate closely with the Brand Marketing, Trade Marketing and Visual Merchandising teams to bring our brand's vision to life across various platforms. This role will focus on creating and refining marketing assets that resonate with our customers, elevate our brand's prestige and align with our brand goals and aesthetics. This role reports into the Director of Brand Marketing.

Key Responsibilities:

The designer will work on a variety of projects, including promotional marketing materials, print collateral, in-store and salon merchandising, ecommerce banners, trade ads and product renderings. Resize and optimize imagery for digital and print channels, ensuring consistency and high-quality visual presentation across all brand materials. Collaborate with VM team to ensure that planograms are created and shared for each store and that they respect all guidelines. Create marketing collateral including bounce-back cards, business cards, product cards, and email signatures to maintain brand integrity and ensure a consistent, premium aesthetic. Ensure that all creative materials adhere to Parfums de Marly’s brand guidelines, maintaining a luxurious and sophisticated visual identity. Prepare files for print production, ensuring that all technical aspects (color profiles, bleed settings, etc.) are correct for final output. Meet project deadlines with the ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize as needed. Work with a wide range of media and use graphic design software. Collaborate with marketing team to conceptualize and execute creative solutions that can be translated across various media platforms. Stay up to speed on design trends in and out of beauty industry. Design QR codes and link tree assets for digital marketing and social media purposes, ensuring they are on-brand and user-friendly.

Role - Specific Skills:

Creativity – The core of graphic design. Ability to generate unique ideas and visual concepts. Photo Editing – Retouching and enhancing images for print or digital use. Attention to Detail – Precision in spacing, alignment, and overall design accuracy. Communication Skills – Explaining design choices and collaborating with clients or teams. Time Management – Meeting deadlines while managing multiple projects. Problem-Solving Skills – Addressing design challenges creatively. Adaptability – Keeping up with industry trends and evolving design software.

Desired Background and Experience:

Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Design, or related discipline. Minimum 4 years or related work experience in Design at an Agency, Studio, or in-house department. Beauty industry experience a plus. Expert in Adobe Creative Suite design and illustration software, especially InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator & Acrobat. Demonstrable graphic design skills with a strong portfolio. Highly proficient in all design aspects. Possession of creative flair, versatility, conceptual/visual ability, and originality.
