Job purpose The Sales Support Coordinator is a vital Goway Travel team member, providing essential administrative and operational support to Destination Specialists. This role demands strong organizational skills, attention to detail, analytical thinking, and a dedication to exceptional customer service. By efficiently managing bookings, ensuring data accuracy, and driving process improvements, they play a crucial role in powering sales operations and growth.
Responsibilities
Ensure all services are properly confirmed based on the requests of Destination Specialists, verifying details such as flight itineraries, accommodations, and activities.
Input booking details into the company’s booking system, maintaining data integrity and consistency.
Accurately process and manage bookings, ensuring all necessary information is captured and organized.
Handle various administrative tasks, such as document filing, supplier coordination, cross-departmental collaboration, and document management.
Provide excellent customer service to both internal and external clients, addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
Read and review supplier contracts loaded in the reservation system, verify service and cost accuracy against invoices, and optimize booking processes for the sales team.
Work cooperatively with all team members to support the achievement of work plan activities designed to achieve identified goals and objectives.
What are we looking for?
Candidates must have recent experience or in-depth background in the travel industry.
Candidates must have 1 year of experience in customer service or a similar function.
Candidates must have strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Candidates must have good administrative and analytical skills.
Candidates must have exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines, and standard accepted practices.
