About the Role:
The Sales Manager will be responsible for driving regional sales growth by developing and executing effective sales strategies that align with the company's overall business objectives. This role requires leading and motivating a sales team to achieve and exceed sales volume targets while expanding the customer base within the assigned territory. The Sales Manager will oversee inside and outside sales activities, ensuring that the team is equipped with the necessary training and resources to succeed in competitive markets. Additionally, the role involves designing and implementing sales incentive programs to boost team performance and maintain high levels of motivation. Ultimately, the Sales Manager will play a critical role in establishing a successful sales culture that fosters continuous improvement and sustainable revenue growth.
Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field. Proven experience in regional sales management with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets. Strong knowledge of sales strategies, sales planning, and sales volume management. Experience leading and developing sales teams, including outside sales representatives. Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills Must Have: The sales manager needs to have skills to do :
Face to face calls Cold calls in person and on the phone/email. Generate new business Develop existing account Work inside when necessary Assist in developing our inside sales staff.
Preferred Qualifications:
Master's degree in Business Administration or a related discipline. Experience in the specific industry relevant to the company's products or services. Familiarity with CRM software and sales analytics tools. Certification in sales management or professional sales training programs. Demonstrated success in designing and implementing sales incentive programs. Responsibilities:
Develop and implement comprehensive regional sales plans to meet or exceed sales volume targets. Lead, coach, and mentor the sales team to enhance their skills and performance in outside sales activities. Analyze market trends and customer needs to identify new sales opportunities and adjust strategies accordingly. Design and manage sales incentive programs to motivate the team and drive successful sales outcomes. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of sales strategies with marketing, product development, and customer service.
