About

As an Application Service Delivery Manager, you are responsible for maximizing the business value realization for the application you manage by implementing the given priorities in the best way. This role manages a team of people, ensuring the delivery of an application, group of applications, or platform.

Your Responsibilities
  1. Ensure that the application has a proper strategic positioning in alignment with IT Enterprise Architecture and Global IT Domains.
  2. Ensure that the application has a proper license agreement for the planned user community in alignment with the application owner.
  3. Ensure the application is registered within the CMDB, in line with the overall strategy and leveraging the asset registration ServiceNow capabilities.
  4. Ensure service delivery, particularly case resolution (incidents, requests) management. This includes ensuring a proper support agreement and that a Service Management system is in place and aligned with the Hitachi Energy standard.
  5. Ensure technical documentation availability and accuracy for the application(s) in scope.
  6. Ensure that the yearly application costs are in line with the allocated budget.
  7. Manage contracts with external vendors.
  8. Support the CDC with the Vulnerability Management Service to ensure timely and accurate identification and mitigation of potential vulnerabilities.
  9. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify/mitigate vulnerabilities & develop remediation strategies to minimize potential adverse impacts (e.g., Patching).
  10. Continuously monitor industry trends and emerging threats to improve the effectiveness of the Vulnerability Monitoring Service and ensure compliance with global cybersecurity standards and regulations.
  11. Perform activities required by Internal Controls (of particular importance in case the application is ICoFR-relevant).
  12. Ensure local applicable security requirements.
  13. Maintain close interactions with the application owner.
Your Experience:
  1. Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or 5 years or more working experience in Application Management.
  2. 5 years or more experience in Application Management, Development, and Application Run Operations.
  3. Experience with development platforms (e.g. AWS, Azure, Salesforce, Pega, Docker, Kubernetes). Specify the languages relevant to the role.
  4. Experience with the functional domain where the application belongs to (e.g. Finance, Engineering, Sales & Marketing). Specify the languages relevant to the role.
  5. Understanding of software development lifecycles.
  6. Strong ability to understand context for code, the codebase, and its relation to business objectives.
  7. Ability to work both independently and in a team.
  8. Demonstrated ability to communicate complex technical information in a condensed manner to various stakeholders verbally and in writing.
  9. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  10. Growth mindset and a willingness to learn new skills, technologies, and frameworks.
