Sales Design Associate

Location: Fairport, NY 14450 | Full-Time

As a Sales Design Associate, you will work closely with homeowners and interior design partners to bring their visions to life, combining design guidance, technical expertise, and a strong sales approach to deliver a seamless, high-quality experience from consultation through installation. This is an opportunity to be part of a collaborative, client-focused team where relationships, craftsmanship, and service are at the core of everything we do.

What You Get:
  • First-year earning potential: $70,000-$90,000 Base + Commission + Bonuses
  • Base padding during training period
  • M-F, 8:30am-5:00pm
  • Mileage reimbursement for in-home appointments
  • Company-provided tablet/iPad for quoting and project management

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct in-home consultations and guide clients through window treatment design decisions
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with residential clients and interior design partners, delivering a high level of service
  • Manage each sale from initial inquiry through final installation
  • Take accurate measurements and develop detailed project scopes
  • Coordinate with installers to ensure smooth project execution
  • Oversee projects from start to finish, assisting in account and project management to ensure quality and client satisfaction
  • Assist with showroom appointments and walk-in clients
  • Maintain a professional, welcoming environment
  • Collaborate with team members to support overall operations
Qualifications
  • Strong sales experience, ideally in in-home or consultative sales
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple projects
  • Comfortable taking measurements and handling technical aspects of projects
  • Positive, adaptable, and solutions-oriented mindset
  • Proficiency with technology; experience with quoting tools is a plus
  • A background in design sales is highly preferred
