About

As a Software Engineer II at Honeywell, you will contribute to the design, development, and implementation of innovative software solutions that meet customer needs and drive business success.
Location and Schedule Work out of Phoenix, AZ on a hybrid schedule. No relocation is offered.
Key Responsibilities
Participate in the full software development lifecycle, including requirements gathering, design, coding, testing, and deployment in compliance with DO-178B guidelines.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project requirements and deliver high-quality software solutions.
Contribute to the development of software documentation and user manuals.
Implement services on the Linux platform to port the application.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline such as science, technology, engineering, or mathematics.
2+ years of experience in software development (including internships and project work).
Strong experience with programming languages such as Embedded C++.
Experience with software development tools and version control systems.
Familiarity with software development methodologies.
Understanding of operating system concepts.
Familiarity with build and debug tool chains.
Willingness to solve real-time challenges involving concurrent execution of processes in a multicore environment.
Preferred Qualifications / Desired Experience
Experience developing applications for embedded systems for aerospace products.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Familiarity with Linux scheduling algorithms.
Familiarity with OS synchronization services.
Experience designing software for multicore environments.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Passion for technology and continuous learning.
