Role & Responsibilities:
We are looking for a well-qualified highly experienced candidate to manage the implementation of a large enterprise construction project management platform that includes multiple SaaS and intranet components.
You will be working directly with the product owner, the internal development teams, and suppliers to optimize project delivery and provide critical project controls and oversight.
Responsibilities:
Project Planning
Define the project's scope, objectives, and key deliverables in consultation with stakeholders. Develop a project plan that outlines the tasks, schedules, budgets, resources, and milestones needed to achieve the project goals. Set expectations and establish a clear roadmap that guides the entire team.
Resource Management
Allocate the right tasks to the right people and ensure the project has all the necessary resources at the appropriate times. Manage resources; ensure the project team has the tools and materials needed to succeed.
Time Management
Ensure that the project remains on schedule. Set deadlines, prioritize tasks, and mitigate delays. Regular monitoring and adjustment of schedules to accommodate any changes or challenges that arise during the project lifecycle.
Budget Management
Maintain the project within financial constraints. Estimate costs, set a budget, and control spending. Work with the scheduling and cost control team to maintain a cost loaded schedule. Provide updates to stakeholders on the project's financial health. Maintain transparency and manage expectations.
Quality Assurance
Maintain the quality of work produced. Establish quality standards and ensure these standards are met through regular testing and validation processes. Work closely with the quality assurance team to identify discrepancies or issues and promptly implement corrective measures.
Stakeholder Communication
Regularly communicate with all stakeholders, including clients, team members, and upper management, to ensure everyone is informed and engaged. This includes preparing status reports, conducting meetings, and being the point of contact for any inquiries related to the project.
Risk Management
Identify potential risks and prepare mitigation strategies. Assess potential threats to the project's success and implement risk management plans to minimize impact. Proactively avoid delays and ensure smooth project execution.
Documentation
Keep detailed records of all project elements, such as contracts, plans, financial statements, and communications.
Compliance and Regulatory Adherence
Ensure that the project adheres to relevant laws, regulations, and standards.
Agile Development
Participate in internal development SCRUM meetings and sprints.
Qualifications / Requirements:
Minimum 5 years professional experience managing large, complex enterprise IT projects.
BSc in IT related field or a minimum of 10 years experience delivering large, complex enterprise IT projects.
PMI PMP certification preferred.
Experience with scheduling methodology and tools. Primavera P6 experience preferred.
Experience with Agile development. Jira experience preferred.
Product Owner/Scrum Master experience and certification preferred.
Excellent analytical and organization skills.
Excellent team management and interpersonal skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
BSc degree in relevant field, or equivalent experience.
