We are seeking enthusiastic and dependable Distribution Center Associates to join our facility in Richmond, Virginia. This role is integral to our logistics network, encompassing a variety of warehouse duties designed to ensure the efficient flow of goods. Responsibilities include receiving, stocking, picking, packing, and shipping products. You will play a crucial part in meeting customer demands and maintaining the operational integrity of our distribution center. Responsibilities:
- Receive, inspect, and stock incoming inventory accurately.
- Pick and pack orders with precision and speed.
- Stage and prepare shipments for dispatch.
- Operate material handling equipment as required.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.
- Adhere to all Safety protocols and guidelines, including the proper use of PPE.
- Conduct inventory counts and assist with inventory management.
- Identify and report any damaged goods or operational inefficiencies.
- Contribute to the overall efficiency and productivity of the logistics operations.
- Perform tasks involving moderate to heavy Lifting of products.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution center is highly desirable.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including standing, walking, bending, and frequent Lifting.
- Capability for heavy Lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Understanding of warehouse operations, inventory control, and logistics.
- Strong dedication to Safety and adherence to all safety procedures.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented setting.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Reliable attendance and punctuality.
- Good communication skills.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new tasks and technologies.
