Job Description
We are seeking an Event Set Up Specialist to join our team! You will be responsible for organizing important events from conception through completion.
Responsibilities:
- Set up and break down event spaces, including commercial grade tents, furniture, staging, audiovisual equipment, and décor
- Load, unload, and transport equipment safely and efficiently
- Follow detailed setup diagrams and event plans
- Maintain cleanliness, organization, and inventory of event equipment
- Collaborate with event coordinators, vendors, and clients to ensure everything meets expectations
- Troubleshoot and resolve on-site issues quickly and professionally
- Ensure all safety and quality standards are met throughout the setup and teardown process
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in event setup, hospitality, or facilities operations preferred
- Ability to lift, carry, and move objects up to (75) lbs.
- Excellent attention to detail and time management skills
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities
- Valid driver’s license (if driving/transport is required)
