Join our expanding logistics team as a Distribution Center Associate in Portland, Oregon! We are seeking hardworking individuals to contribute to the efficient operation of our distribution center. This role encompasses a variety of essential warehouse tasks, including receiving, stocking, order picking, packing, and shipping. Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and verify incoming shipments.
- Stock merchandise accurately in designated warehouse locations.
- Pick customer orders using scanners and order lists.
- Pack orders securely for shipment, ensuring product integrity.
- Prepare outgoing shipments, including labeling and staging.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Operate warehouse equipment as trained and certified.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures, with a strong emphasis on safety.
- Wear required PPE at all times.
- Perform tasks involving frequent lifting and physical exertion.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous warehouse or distribution center experience is a plus.
- Ability to work efficiently and accurately in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic understanding of logistics and supply chain operations.
- Strong commitment to safety and adherence to all protocols.
- Ability to stand, walk, and perform manual tasks including heavy lifting for extended periods.
- Must wear appropriate PPE.
- Team player with good communication skills.
- Reliability and a strong work ethic.
