Join our team as a Warehouse Worker in Jacksonville, Florida, where you'll play a key role in our efficient warehouse operations. This position involves a variety of tasks essential to the movement and storage of goods. You'll be involved in receiving, storing, and preparing products for distribution. Responsibilities:
- Receive and unload incoming shipments, verifying contents against purchase orders.
- Sort, stack, and store inventory in designated warehouse locations.
- Pick and pack orders accurately for shipment, ensuring all items are accounted for.
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment safely.
- Load outgoing shipments onto trucks, ensuring proper securing and weight distribution.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.
- Conduct regular inventory checks and report any discrepancies.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures, especially those related to Safety and the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Assist with general warehouse maintenance and upkeep.
- Participate in training sessions to enhance skills and knowledge in logistics and warehouse management.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Previous warehouse experience preferred.
- Ability to handle physically demanding tasks, including frequent Lifting of up to 50 lbs.
- Experience operating forklifts or other powered industrial trucks is advantageous.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Understanding of warehouse safety protocols and procedures.
- Team player with good communication skills.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Must be able to wear required PPE, including safety shoes and vests.
