Responsibilities:
- Monitor and maintain accurate inventory records using WMS.
- Conduct regular cycle counts and physical inventories to verify stock levels.
- Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies promptly.
- Implement and improve inventory control procedures to reduce loss and waste.
- Ensure proper storage and organization of all inventory items.
- Coordinate with receiving, shipping, and operations teams.
- Assist in the training of other staff on inventory procedures.
- Adhere to all safety protocols, including the correct use of PPE and proper lifting techniques.
- Analyze inventory data to identify trends and recommend improvements.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in inventory control or a similar role within a logistics environment.
- Proficiency with inventory management software and ERP systems.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent organizational abilities and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Understanding of warehouse operations and supply chain principles.
- Must be comfortable with tasks involving lifting and moving inventory items as required.
