Job Description
Responsibilities
Perform TIG welding on parts and assemblies according to blueprints and production specifications.
Weld components freehand and/or using fixtures and rotary positioning equipment .
Weld materials including stainless steel, mild steel, and aluminum .
Ensure all welds meet quality and cosmetic standards , including precision welds on thin materials such as 22-gauge components .
Track and maintain inventory of welding components to prevent shortages.
Collaborate with engineering and other departments to meet assembly and production needs.
Minimum 1 year of recent professional TIG welding experience .
Proven ability to perform high-quality TIG welds with strong attention to detail , including cosmetic welds on thin materials.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings .
Understanding of TIG welding adjustments for different materials and part variations.
You should be proficient in:
- Welding Setups for Production
- Blueprint Reading
