Pay Rate: $50,000 annually

As Arrow Workforce continues to grow, we are currently seeking an experienced On-Site Manager to support our operations in the Scarborough area.
Position Summary
The On-Site Manager acts as Arrow Workforce’s on-site representative and primary liaison between Arrow and the client. This role focuses on relationship-building, workforce management, safety compliance, and operational efficiency within a distribution center environment.
This is a Scarborough-based role and is not a mobile position . However, the successful candidate must have reliable transportation and be comfortable with occasional travel to nearby locations when required.
Work Location & Travel Expectations
- Primary location: Scarborough, ON
- Must have access to a personal vehicle and must be comfortable travelling
- This is not a mobile role , but in rare situations, the On-Site Manager may be required to support another Arrow site. Flexibility is required, with no objection to occasional travel.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain strong relationships with client leadership and key stakeholders
- Understand the client’s vision, business strategy, and workplace policies
- Ensure all safety and health protocols are implemented, followed, and updated
- Screen, recruit, onboard, and place associates into appropriate roles
- Develop a strong understanding of all areas within the distribution center
- Track and manage workforce metrics including attendance, productivity, attrition, and payroll
- Maintain daily communication with on-site associates; remain approachable and supportive
- Understand training requirements and SOPs for various job functions
- Resolve conflicts and de-escalate issues between associates and the client
- Stay current with recruitment trends and prepare for peak staffing periods
- Develop contingency plans to manage sudden changes in staffing, safety, or productivity
Qualifications & Experience
- Previous supervisory or leadership experience (required)
- Experience working in a distribution or warehouse environment (required)
- Strong leadership skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, with strong Excel skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Experience meeting strict deadlines
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Recruitment and staffing experience an asset
- Experience with uAttend or similar time and attendance systems an asset
- Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle required
