Project Manager – Multifamily Capital & General Contractor Projects
POSITION SUMMARY
The Project Manager at Complete Apartment Care (CAC) is responsible for managing multifamily capital improvement and general contractor–level projects from preconstruction through final completion . This role owns the full project lifecycle, including estimating support, scope development, project planning, execution, client communication, and closeout.
This position manages complex, multi-scope projects that go beyond routine maintenance, ensuring work is properly scoped, accurately priced, and executed safely, on schedule, and within budget. The Project Manager plays a critical role in aligning client expectations, operational execution, and financial performance across each project.
This role focuses on capital projects and GC-level work and does not manage small work orders or minor trade services such as basic painting or light maintenance.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Project Management & Execution
- Manage assigned multifamily capital and GC-level projects from award through completion
- Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and execution plans
- Coordinate internal teams, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure timely, high-quality delivery
- Conduct project kickoffs, site meetings, progress updates, and closeout reviews
- Monitor job costs, labor usage, materials, and subcontractor performance to protect margins
- Identify risks early and proactively resolve issues to avoid delays or cost overruns
- Ensure all work is executed in compliance with safety standards, scope requirements, and CAC quality expectations
Estimating & Preconstruction Support
- Perform property walkthroughs to collect measurements, assess site conditions, and validate constructability
- Develop accurate scopes of work and pricing for multifamily capital and GC-level projects
- Review drawings, specifications, and project documents to identify scope gaps, risks, and assumptions
- Manage RFIs, scope clarifications, and pricing adjustments during preconstruction and execution
- Clearly document inclusions, exclusions, assumptions, and constraints to minimize change orders
Client & Internal Coordination
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the project lifecycle
- Communicate progress, schedule changes, and scope impacts clearly and professionally
