Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of warehouse staff, including shipping, receiving, and inventory control.
- Ensure efficient and accurate order fulfillment and timely shipment of goods.
- Implement and enforce all warehouse safety procedures and regulations, including proper PPE usage.
- Train, mentor, and evaluate warehouse associates to ensure performance standards are met.
- Manage inventory levels, conduct cycle counts, and oversee stock rotation.
- Optimize warehouse layout and workflows to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
- Maintain equipment and ensure a safe and clean working environment for all staff.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless logistics operations.
- Handle operational issues and implement corrective actions as needed.
- High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management or related field is a plus.
- Proven experience as a Warehouse Supervisor or in a similar leadership role.
- Extensive knowledge of warehouse operations, logistics, and inventory management.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a team.
- Strong understanding of safety regulations and experience enforcing PPE requirements.
- Proficiency in warehouse management systems (WMS) and other relevant software.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.
- A commitment to fostering a culture of safety and continuous improvement in all logistics aspects.
