You will be responsible for receiving, storing, and distributing materials efficiently. This includes operating forklifts and other equipment, loading and unloading trucks, and ensuring that inventory is accurately tracked and organized. Responsibilities:
- Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment.
- Load and unload incoming and outgoing shipments.
- Move materials to and from designated storage areas.
- Receive, identify, and document materials accurately.
- Organize and maintain warehouse inventory, ensuring proper placement and accessibility.
- Conduct regular inspections of equipment and report any issues.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including the correct use of PPE.
- Assist with inventory counts and stocktaking.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient warehouse operations and logistics.
- Maintain a clean and orderly work environment.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid forklift certification and proven experience.
- Ability to lift up to 60 lbs.
- Strong understanding of warehouse operations and logistics.
- Excellent safety record and awareness.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
- Experience with warehouse management systems is a plus.
