About the Position:
The U.S. Border Patrol (USBP) is seeking highly trained and dedicated professionals to fill entry-level positions as Border Patrol Agents.
Key Responsibilities:
- Detecting and questioning people suspected of violating immigration laws, inspecting documents and possessions to determine citizenship or violations
- Preventing and apprehending undocumented noncitizens at or near the borders using surveillance techniques including infrared scopes during night operations
- Interpreting and following tracks, marks, ,and other physical evidence of illegal entry
