Job Title: Border Protection Specialist
Description:
The U.S. government is seeking highly motivated and dedicated individuals to fill Customs and Border Protection Officer positions.
- This role offers a unique opportunity to serve in the Department of Homeland Security, protecting American interests and securing our nation's borders.
Broad Responsibilities
- Enforcing customs, immigration, and agriculture laws and regulations by conducting inspections of individuals and conveyances.
- Determining the admissibility of individuals for entry into the United States based on legal requirements.
- Promoting lawful trade while preventing illegal activities such as smuggling goods or people across borders.
Achieve Success through Skills & Qualifications

The following are minimum qualifications:
have had primary US residency for at least three (3) out of five (5) years.
Citizenship must be held with an age restriction that applies when referred prior to turning 40 in accordance with Public Law 100-238.),
The exception being if you hold current federal civilian law enforcement service under Titles 5 USC c or 8412(d).
