Job Title: Events & Service Manager
Location: Prime Seafood Palace
Reports to: General Manager / Events Director
Position Summary
The Events & Service Manager is responsible for leading the planning and execution of private dining, special events, and elevated guest experiences while maintaining Michelin-level service standards in daily operations. This role bridges sales, culinary coordination, and front-of-house leadership to ensure seamless execution, refined hospitality, and exceptional attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities
Event Planning & Client Relations
- Serve as the primary point of contact for private dining and special event inquiries.
- Develop customized event proposals in collaboration with the Chef and Sommelier teams.
- Prepare and manage detailed Banquet Event Orders (BEOs), timelines, and floor plans.
- Oversee all pre-event logistics, including menu confirmations, beverage pairings, staffing, rentals, and special requests.
- Maintain proactive communication with clients to ensure expectations are exceeded.
Service Leadership & Operations
- Lead and oversee service execution for events and regular dinner service as needed.
- Train, coach, and inspire front-of-house staff to deliver precise, anticipatory hospitality.
- Uphold Michelin-level standards of service, presentation, and guest engagement.
- Partner with the culinary and beverage teams to ensure synchronized pacing and execution.
- Monitor service flow and resolve challenges with composure and discretion.
Financial & Administrative Oversight
- Manage event revenue goals, cost controls, and profitability.
- Support forecasting, staffing plans, and labor management for events.
- Track event performance metrics and contribute to strategic growth initiatives.
Qualifications
- 3–7 years of progressive leadership experience in fine dining or Michelin-starred environments.
- Proven experience managing private dining, high-profile events, and VIP clientele.
- Strong understanding of fine dining service standards, wine service, and hospitality etiquette.
- Exceptional organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to thrive in a high-pressure, detail-driven environment.
- Familiarity with event planning software and restaurant management systems preferred.
