We are hiring a dedicated professional who understands the importance of showing up for their teammates every day to support our production team at West End Radiators. This role works closely with the Operations Manager to ensure the shop operates efficiently, productively, and safely. The Service Supervisor contributes to the success of the shop and drives daily production targets. What you will do:

· Lead the Shop with day-to-day operations including coordinating schedules, staff requirements, and equipment management.

· Assist with shop organization, testing, diagnosing, quoting, and measuring incoming jobs.

· Track, evaluate and update job status, priorities, production requirements, and any issues that may affect completion. Ensure staff are aware of all priorities and requirements.

· Resolve production challenges and support workflow efficiencies to meet performance and quality standards.

· Provide guidance on equipment operations and production processes.

· Foster a collaborative, team-oriented environment and help develop employee skills.

· Communicate with the office and liaise with the shop floor.

· Maintain adherence to standard operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure quality, productivity, and safety.

· Participate in production and assist across various departments as required.

Qualified candidates will possess the following skills/qualities:

· 2 years previous experience in a manufacturing or mechanical environment with management abilities; equivalent combination of education and experience would be considered.

· Experience working in a production or manufacturing environment, with knowledge of shop flow.

· Ability to multi-task, organize and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.

· Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to involve staff in decision-making.

· Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

· Abilities to work within a team and coordinate with management.

· Highly organized with effective time management and prioritization abilities

· Commitment to promoting a safe and efficient work environment.

· A positive and team-oriented attitude

· Ability to work in an industrial setting, including standing for long periods, lifting up to 50 lbs, and performing repetitive tasks.
