Protect America's Borders

The U.S. Border Patrol is hiring for entry-level positions as law enforcement officers to protect the nation's borders and enhance economic prosperity.

Key Responsibilities:

• Detect and question individuals suspected of violating immigration laws, inspecting documents and possessions to determine citizenship or violations
• Prevent and apprehend undocumented noncitizens and smugglers at or near borders by maintaining surveillance from covert positions using infrared scopes during night operations
• Interpret tracks, marks, physical evidence of illegal entry of persons or contraband, perform farm checks, building checks etc.
