About the Position:
The U.S. Border Patrol (USBP) is hiring full-time, entry-level Law Enforcement Officers (LEO) for a challenging and rewarding career opportunity.
This position requires you to work with an elite team of highly trained professionals who strive to protect America by safeguarding our borders, deterring illicit activity, and enhancing national economic prosperity.
Key Responsibilities:
- Detect and question individuals suspected of violating immigration laws
- Inspect documents and possessions to determine citizenship or violations
- Pursue undocumented noncitizens and smugglers at or near borders using covert positions with infrared scopes during night operations
- Interpret tracks, marks, and other physical evidence of illegal entry
