You will be responsible for the safe and effective handling of materials, including loading and unloading shipments, moving inventory, and ensuring accurate placement within the warehouse. Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and inspect incoming materials and products.
- Move materials to and from production areas, storage locations, and shipping docks.
- Operate material handling equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts (certification may be required).
- Verify quantities and accuracy of received goods against purchase orders or invoices.
- Ensure materials are stored correctly and safely in designated areas.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free work environment.
- Adhere strictly to all safety regulations and company policies, including the proper use of PPE.
- Assist with inventory counts and cycle counts as directed.
- Support general warehouse operations and logistics support as needed.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a warehouse, distribution, or material handling role is a strong asset.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including frequent lifting of up to 50 lbs, standing, walking, and bending.
- Familiarity with warehouse safety standards and the importance of using PPE.
- Basic understanding of logistics principles.
- Strong work ethic and reliability.
- Ability to follow instructions and work effectively in a team.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
