POSITION SUMMARY
The IT Technician is responsible for providing deskside technical support to end users, ensuring efficient resolution of hardware, software, and peripheral issues in a professional and customer-focused manner. This role performs light to moderate network troubleshooting, IP configuration, diagnostics, and other various department requests.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBLITIES
- Provide help desk support for hardware, software, and network issues via phone, email, and in-person assistance, ensuring timely resolution.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Windows operating systems, Microsoft 365, printers, faxes, and basic network connectivity. Escalate problems as necessary.
- Install, configure, and maintain desktop computers, peripherals, and approved applications in accordance with Franklin County IT standards and security policies.
- Maintain accurate documentation of support requests, solutions, and system configurations to ensure transparency and continuity of service.
