Position Overview
As a Manufacturing Technician / Warehouse Associate, you will support both warehouse operations and hands-on fabrication and assembly in a build-to-order environment. While warehouse responsibilities are the primary focus, this role is intentionally flexible—some days may involve a mix of warehouse and assembly work, while other days may be entirely dedicated to building and assembling equipment.
This is a hands-on build shop, not a CNC or automated manufacturing facility. You will work directly with tools, components, and assemblies to build professional-grade cleaning systems from start to finish.
Key ResponsibilitiesWarehouse Operations (Primary Focus)
- Operate a automated carousel
- Use a WMS for inventory, order picking
- Use computer for order picking and shipping
- Receive, inspect, and stock incoming materials and components
- Pick, kit, and stage parts for production and assembly builds
- Pack and prepare finished products for shipment
- Move materials and assemblies throughout the shop and warehouse
- Assist with inventory counts and stock organization
- Maintain clean, organized, and safe warehouse areas
Fabrication & Assembly (As Needed / Build-Focused Days)
- Fabricate and assemble custom frames, mounts, and structures using hand tools and power tools
- Assemble mobile carts and large skids following schematics, build sheets, and work instructions
- Install mechanical, plumbing, and electrical components including pumps, tanks, filters, valves, reels, and control systems
- Wire low-voltage control panels and electronic devices
- Perform quality checks and functional testing on completed systems
- Troubleshoot and resolve assembly or fitment issues
- Maintain organized and safe build areas
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift and move components and assemblies weighing up to 100 pounds
- Ability to stand, bend, kneel, and work in various positions for extended periods
- Regular use of hand tools, power tools, and electrical equipment
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience in warehouse operations, manufacturing, fabrication, or mechanical assembly preferred
- Comfortable working hands-on with tools and physical assemblies
- Ability to read and follow instructions, diagrams, and build documentation
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and quality
- Reliable, flexible, and able to shift focus based on daily priorities
Preferred (Not Required)
- Mechanical, electrical, plumbing, or fabrication experience
- Experience assembling equipment, skids, carts, or mechanical systems
- Forklift certification
- Familiarity with inventory systems or warehouse management software
