Position:
Full-time Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant for on-site care in Skilled Nursing Facilities in Corsicana, Texas. No weekends, nights, call, or holidays required.
Responsibilities Include
- Conducting comprehensive health assessments and developing personalized care plans
- Managing chronic and acute conditions with timely interventions
- Ordering, interpreting tests, prescribing treatments within scope
- Providing resident and family education on health and prevention
- Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams and participating in quality improvement
- Maintaining accurate documentation and supporting organizational goals
Requirements
- Current Texas Nurse Practitioner license and board certification
- Geriatric care experience preferred; background in ICU, ER, Urgent Care, or Surgery advantageous
- Strong assessment, communication, and teamwork skills
- Proficiency with electronic medical records and healthcare technology
- Ability to travel occasionally within the region
