We are looking for a motivated Welder Intern to join our team and gain hands-on experience in metal fabrication, welding, and shop operations. This internship is ideal for students or entry-level candidates interested in learning MIG, TIG, stick welding, blueprint reading, and safety practices in a real industrial environment.
Responsibilities
- Assist senior welders with MIG/TIG/Stick welding tasks
- Prepare materials by cutting, grinding, and cleaning metal surfaces
- Set up welding equipment and tools under supervision
- Learn and follow welding symbols, measurements, and basic blueprints
- Support in assembling metal structures and components
- Maintain a clean and safe workspace
- Perform basic quality checks on welded parts
- Follow company safety protocols and PPE requirements
- Participate in training sessions to improve technical skills
