About

Preferred Schedule: M-F; 9AM-5PM with an hour lunch and four 15 minute breaks (minimum hours- will grow into more full time; may be able to offer full time from the beginning) (In office days will be full 8 hour days)
Some days will be WFH and others will be in office.
*May have slight flexibility in certain situations (for example, daycare drop off and pickup times during these hours)

We are looking for a friendly and organized Hiring Manager to join our team This is a great opportunity for someone who loves working with people, thrives on helping others, and is eager to grow with us.
Position Details:
- Hours: Monday–Friday, 9AM-5PM with an hour lunch and four 15 minute breaks (minimum- around 25 hours per week) (Occasional evening and weekend hours for trainings and events)
- More hours may be available for the right candidate and schedule
- Pay Rate: $10.00 – $16.00 per hour, (may be flexible) based on experience and work load
- Remote Role: You must provide your own phone and computer (your personal phone number will not be used)
- Location Requirement: Weekly in-person days are required
Responsibilities:
- Answer all incoming calls (unless in an interview or meeting)
- Posting indeed listings, and calling and messaging applicants and having them apply on our website
- Reaching out to new applicants to set interviews by phone call
- Interviewing applicants via google meets, which requires a professional background and dressing appropriately
- Contacting their references via phone call and sometimes email or text
- Sending and confirming background checks
- Confirming CPR and certifications, ensuring they do not go expired if the caregiver is with us long term
- Completing orientations for the app or nanny placement
- Firing and disciplining caregivers
- Weekly meetings with our family specialist, about current open placement positions
- Brainstorming and executing new hiring outlets (colleges, hiring events, etc.)
- Staying active in our caregiver GroupMe
- Scheduling and attending local hiring events and staff meetings (sometimes on weekends- expect to be one Saturday a month)
- Continue on going support for nanny in long term placements.
- Support management with additional administrative tasks as needed.
Qualifications:
- Preferred to have experience hiring in the childcare field, or similar role (daycare director, lead teacher, long term nanny, etc.)
- Must be dependable and able to work a minimum of Monday–Friday, 9AM-5 PM
- Tech-savvy with the ability to learn and master CRM software.
- Excellent communication skills and a positive, upbeat personality.
- Comfortable handling customer service calls, including occasional complaints.
- Work well with a team of 3 other administrators while also being able to work independently.
- Organized, detail-oriented, and able to multitask effectively.
