Working Hours: 06:00-18:00 & 18:00-06:00, 4 on 4 off

The Role

As Shift Manager, you will have overall responsibility for the day-to-day operation of your shift, ensuring production runs safely, efficiently, and to plan. You will provide general oversight across the factory floor, making real-time decisions to keep operations running smoothly.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Full shift oversight within a liquid processing environment
  • Managing production using process control and SCADA systems
  • Making decisions on the timing and coordination of key activities
  • Leading and managing a workforce of 32-50 colleagues per shift
  • Labour planning and control to meet production and cost targets
  • Driving staff performance through clear KPIs and expectations
  • Conducting regular tiered meetings , reviewing performance, output, and issues
  • Ensuring food safety, quality, and operational standards are maintained at all times

What We're Looking For

  • Previous experience within the food manufacturing industry (essential)
  • Experience in a leadership or supervisory role
  • Strong people management skills with the ability to motivate and engage teams
  • Confident decision-making in a fast-paced production environment
  • Comfortable working with production data, KPIs, and performance reviews
  • Experience with liquid processing or SCADA systems is highly desirable
