About
We are seeking a motivated and passionate Assistant Teacher to join our Little Learners family Livingston's Little Learners is a family-owned and operated Preschool located in a residential setting in Livingston, NJ. We take pride in creating a close-knit environment that intrigues, inspires, and nurtures our students. We support and encourage a team approach to learning wherein the children, teachers, and families work together to build a foundation for success.
Responsibilities:
- Provide a safe and supportive learning environment for students
- Assist lead teacher in managing your assigned classroom
- Prepare and serve snacks and lunches
- Establish and maintain positive relationships with students and parents
- Assist lead teacher in preparing age-appropriate crafts and activities
Qualifications:
- Kind, reliable, responsible, and motivated demeanor
- Experience working in childcare is considered an asset but not required
- Effective communication and problem-solving skills
- Eager to take on new responsibilities and quick to learn
Compensation: $ $17.00 per hour

Our Education Our goal is to support children through the learning process by providing them with a wide range of cognitive, physical, and social opportunities. Cognitive processes include the exploration of letters numbers and colors. As they progress as individuals, concepts such as spatial relations, same/different, causation, and comparisons will be introduced. Their physical capacities will be challenged on a daily basis as the child actively participates in creative play. Social opportunities occur naturally as the child interacts with peers and teachers.
