We are hiring a dynamic Warehouse Associate for our Seattle, Washington location. This role is essential for the effective operation of our distribution center, supporting a wide range of warehouse functions. You will be involved in receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping orders, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in all tasks. A strong commitment to safety and teamwork is vital for this position within our logistics network.
Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and inspect incoming shipments for accuracy and damage.
- Store inventory in designated warehouse locations, maintaining an organized system.
- Pick orders accurately and efficiently using order sheets or scanner technology.
- Pack orders securely and prepare them for shipment, ensuring proper labeling.
- Load outgoing shipments onto trucks, ensuring correct items and quantities.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and other machinery safely.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, free from hazards.
- Adhere strictly to all company safety policies and procedures, including proper lifting techniques and the mandatory use of PPE.
- Participate in regular inventory counts and stock checks.
- Assist with other warehouse duties as needed to support overall logistics operations.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a warehouse, logistics, or distribution environment is preferred.
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including frequent lifting of up to 50 lbs.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Familiarity with warehouse safety standards and the importance of PPE.
- Ability to operate various warehouse equipment safely and effectively.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Must be reliable, punctual, and able to work flexible hours if needed.
- Understanding of basic inventory management and logistics processes.
