Role Description

This is a remote role for a Community Development Manager - US. Responsibilities include building and nurturing relationships with community members, coordinating and managing volunteer activities, fostering connections within the rare neuroimmune communities, and advocating for the foundation's mission. The Community Development Manager will also spearhead initiatives to engage and grow support networks, collaborate with stakeholders to promote community outreach, and contribute to the foundation's overall goals.

Qualifications

  • Strong Community Engagement and Communication skills
  • Experience in Community Development and Volunteer Management
  • Familiarity with Economic Development concepts and their community applications
  • Passion for nonprofit work and advocating for patient communities
  • Ability to work independently in a remote setting and manage multiple initiatives
  • Prior experience in healthcare, patient advocacy, or related fields is a plus
  • Canada
