You will be responsible for operating forklifts to transport, stack, and load materials, ensuring that inventory is managed accurately and efficiently. Responsibilities:
- Safely and efficiently operate forklifts to move materials within the warehouse.
- Load and unload trucks, ensuring proper placement of goods.
- Transport items to and from storage locations, production areas, and shipping docks.
- Conduct daily inspections of forklift equipment and report any maintenance needs.
- Assist with inventory counts and stock organization.
- Maintain a clean and orderly work environment, adhering to all Safety guidelines.
- Wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times.
- Follow all company policies and procedures related to logistics and material handling.
Qualifications:
- Certified Forklift Operator with demonstrable experience.
- Ability to operate various types of forklifts safely.
- Experience with manual pallet jacks and other warehouse equipment.
- Ability to perform tasks involving moderate Lifting.
- Strong understanding of warehouse Safety practices and protocols.
- Good hand-eye coordination and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Reliable, punctual, and dedicated to maintaining a safe work area.
