The Role

This full time in-office role supports the Founder and is ideal for someone with an interest in a future career in PR or communications. You will handle daily office responsibilities and provide editorial and PR support. You will also assist with PR events during some evenings.

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Evening availability for events is a plus and training is provided.

Qualifications


• College graduate


• Excellent verbal, writing, and organizational skills


• Refined, poised presence on the phone and with clients


• Experience in office administration is a plus


• Energy and ability to keep up in a fast paced office


• Resilient and ambitious


• Strong attention to detail

Responsibilities


• Manage the Founder daily calendar, travel schedule, meetings, reservations, and personal appointments


• Coordinate travel logistics including flights, hotels, itineraries, and event schedules


• Manage office administrative tasks including phones, internal communication, and follow ups


• Provide editorial support to the Founder including drafting correspondence, copy editing, research, and preparing materials for publication


• Maintain contact lists, client notes, and confidential records for both business and personal coordination


• Maintain an upbeat, hardworking, and patient disposition


• Confidently interact by phone and in person with new contacts


• Oversee production of print and digital materials including copywriting, formatting, and fact checking
