The Facilities Maintenance Supervisor / Team Leader oversees facility maintenance and development across assigned locations while championing a high level of customer service and operational excellence. This role supports the company's brand promise by ensuring safe, reliable, and high-quality facilities. The Supervisor / Team Leader will lead maintenance initiatives, manage people and vendors, and execute projects during production downtime to minimize business impact.

Core Responsibilities Of Facilities Maintenance Supervisor / Team Leader
- Champion Reliability across People, Process, and Product
- Relentlessly communicate and enforce safety and quality standards
- Hire, develop, and retain personnel aligned with the future needs of the business
- Lead initiatives that improve employee safety, environmental conditions, quality, delivery, and cost
- Maintain systems for remote monitoring of facilities and proactively implement repairs
- Promptly communicate issues impacting safety, quality, or delivery to appropriate stakeholders
- Proactively facilitate audits and promote a risk-based thinking culture
- Develop annual budgets and manage expense line items to achieve favorable results
- Develop and motivate suppliers and contractors to deliver high-quality work at competitive costs
- Drive timely closure of corrective and preventive actions
- Lead maintenance projects during production downtime to minimize operational disruption
Education & Experience
- Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) in Industrial Maintenance, Engineering, or Construction Management (preferred) and/or a minimum of 3 years of related work experience
- Experience managing contractors, vendors, and supporting labor in a large facility environment
- Proven leadership experience managing a small team and working cross-functionally
- General construction knowledge, including electrical, structural, plumbing, and HVAC systems
- Kentucky General Contractor's License and familiarity with industrial building codes (preferred)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Experience with Manufacturing Business Systems (e.g., MTMS)
- Experience with Labor Management Systems
- Working knowledge of Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE)
- Proficiency in Lean Manufacturing systems and techniques
