Construction Office Administrator – Boston Field Office
The Dow Company, Inc. is seeking a highly organized and dependable
Construction Office Administrator
to support major infrastructure projects in the
Downtown Boston area
. This is a full-time, in-person role supporting our field leadership and project teams on fast-paced, high-profile jobs.
This position serves as a
right-hand support role
to Superintendents and Project Management, helping keep critical projects running smoothly through strong administrative coordination, documentation control, and field-to-office communication.
This role is based in Boston and is not remote.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Track and maintain
daily manhours
for payroll and reporting - Code and process
delivery slips, invoices, and job cost documentation - Track
job quantities
and assist with quantity reporting - Serve as
badging and access coordinator
, including background checks and site credentials - Assist Project Managers and Superintendents with day-to-day administrative tasks
- Support
material procurement
, trucking coordination, and delivery tracking - Act as a
liaison between the jobsite and main office
, ensuring timely communication and documentation flow - Support
accounts payable and accounts receivable tracking
at the project level - Maintain compliance documentation required for secure and regulated job sites
QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS
- Prior experience in
construction administration or project support
preferred - Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Comfortable working in a
fast-paced field environment - Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook); experience with construction software a plus
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work closely with field supervision and project management teams
