Time Mission designs and builds large-scale immersive gaming environments across the United States. Every new location requires a coordinated team of construction installers, carpenters, low-voltage technicians, and general labor. As we continue expanding across the U.S., we are hiring a Hiring Manager / HR & Field Staffing Coordinator focused entirely on U.S. operations and U.S. job sites.
This role is perfect for someone from the construction industry who understands trades, field crews, subcontractors, job-site realities, and the speed at which build schedules change.
Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Hiring & Field Staffing Manager to oversee all U.S.-based recruiting, onboarding, and installation crew coordination for our rapidly growing entertainment brand.
The ideal candidate has worked in construction, exhibit building, custom fabrication, theater production, installation, or similar industries — and is comfortable hiring both full-time staff and freelancers/subcontractors.
This person will own the pipeline of U.S. labor (general laborers, carpenters, electricians, low-voltage techs, installers) and help plan, schedule, and support our U.S. build sites and installations.
Duties & Responsibilities USA Hiring & Recruiting (Primary Focus)
- Lead all U.S. hiring for:
- General laborers
- Carpenters & finish carpenters
- Installers
- Low-voltage & electronics techs
- Traveling installation crews
- Build and maintain a roster of U.S.-based freelancers and subcontractors.
- Post job ads, source candidates, conduct phone screens, coordinate interviews.
- Create hiring pipelines for upcoming U.S. locations and installation phases.
- Ensure proper onboarding and documentation for all U.S. workers.
U.S. Job-Site & Install Coordination
- Work with project managers to understand crew needs for each U.S. job site.
- Help plan staffing for installation phases (pre-wire, framing, theming, testing).
- Assign crews and coordinate schedules for U.S. build sites.
- Track staffing changes as timelines shift.
- Support logistics for traveling teams (flights, hotels, drive plans).
- Communicate frequently with onsite leads to keep staffing aligned with progress.
HR & People Operations (USA)
- Maintain records, contractor agreements, and onboarding files.
- Ensure compliance with U.S. labor laws, safety expectations, and documentation.
- Support performance and expectations management for U.S.-based field teams.
- Assist with developing clear job descriptions, pay structures, and staffing standards.
Qualifications
- Required: Experience in construction, fabrication, or job-site coordination roles.
- Experience hiring or staffing skilled trades and labor.
- Experience working with both employees and 1099 contractors/freelancers.
- Understanding of tools, trades, job-site safety, and installation workflows.
- Strong organizational, scheduling, and communication abilities.
- Ability to adapt to changing timelines and manage multiple U.S. projects at once.
- HR or recruiting experience is a plus, but construction staffing experience is equally valuable.
- Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus (not required).
Experience
- 3+ years in construction staffing, recruiting, job-site coordination, or field operations.
- Experience supervising or coordinating carpenters, installers, or technicians is highly preferred.
- Experience with traveling crews or multi-location operations in the U.S. is a plus.
Pay: From $35.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20.0 – 40.0 per week
