In this role, you will be instrumental in the smooth operation of our warehouse by efficiently moving, organizing, and preparing materials for shipment. You will operate various equipment to move goods and ensure that the warehouse is kept clean and organized. Responsibilities:
- Load and unload trucks using forklifts, pallet jacks, and other equipment.
- Transport materials to and from designated areas within the warehouse.
- Organize and stack materials to maximize space utilization.
- Receive and inspect incoming materials for damage or discrepancies.
- Prepare materials for outgoing shipments, ensuring proper packaging and labeling.
- Operate material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety guidelines.
- Assist with inventory counts and stock replenishment.
- Follow all company policies and safety regulations, including wearing required PPE.
- Report any equipment malfunctions or safety hazards immediately.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous experience as a material handler or in a similar warehouse environment.
- Proficiency in operating forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and manual labor for extended periods.
- Understanding of warehouse safety procedures and the use of PPE.
- Good physical stamina and dexterity.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- A commitment to the principles of logistics and efficient operations.
