Job Title: Twilio Developer Sr

Department: AbbVie Complete Access Contact Center Solutions

Location: Chicago, IL (Onsite /Remote)

Summary: AbbVie is seeking a skilled Twilio Developer to join our IT team and support the design, implementation, and maintenance of solutions leveraging the Twilio communications platform. This role will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver messaging, voice, and real-time communication applications to support business needs and enhance user/customer experiences.

Key Responsibilities:


• Design, develop, and maintain communication solutions using Twilio APIs (SMS, Voice, Video, etc.), primarily using SMS.


• Integrate Twilio services with existing AbbVie applications like Salesforce and other pharmacy platforms.


• Create Twilio Flows to implement two -way SMS work flows for self service capabilities.


• Create messaging campaigns on Twilio communications platform.


• Work closely with stakeholders to gather requirements, conduct technical analysis, and deliver robust solutions.


• Develop and maintain automated messaging systems, workflows, and notifications for internal and external users.


• Ensure solutions adhere to AbbVie's security, compliance, and data privacy standards.


• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Twilio integrations and services.


• Create technical documentation and support user training as needed.

Qualifications:


• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.


• 2+ years hands-on experience with Twilio CEP, CPaaS, Twilio Flex and Twilio Engage. and APIs.


• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, JavaScript, or


• Familiarity with RESTful API integration and web technologies.


• Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) and CI/CD pipelines is a plus.


• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.


• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred:


• Experience in the pharmaceutical or healthcare sector.


• Working knowledge of IT security and data compliance standards.
